What is counselling & psychotherapy?
Counselling/psychotherapy is a form of talk therapy where the client is provided with a confidential, non-judgemental space in which to speak on a one-to-one basis with a counsellor about an issue or problem they are experiencing. Counsellors are professionally qualified individuals who are trained to listen empathetically and impart skills to the client to enable them to explore, make sense of and resolve the issues that are affecting their lives.
